Storing and organizing your window cling decals can be simple and rewarding. Save yourself money and enjoy those window clings even more. I love decorating for the holidays and window decals are underrated!
Halloween is behind us and now we’re putting those decorations away. I know some of you are past that, but that’s okay. The rest of us are bringing out our other decorations, a little bit of Thanksgiving, a lot a bit of Christmas.
Materials you need to organize your window clings
- Sheet protectors
- Binder
- Window clings
When I was younger ours were stacked together and put with other decorations. By the next year they would turn out creased and dirty and to the garbage they would go. I am a big fan of decorating my mirrors and windows with these cute clings so finding a way to keep them year after year was a must.
How to save your window cling decals
SHEET PROTECTORS!
Put all the clings in a binder and it easily organizes them and keeps them all together. Every time you’re ready to pull out some window clings, you know exactly where they are.
Sheet protectors are relatively inexpensive. Just don’t go for the cheapest of cheap. You want the sheet protectors to at least be able to hold shape. I’ve bought a few packs of the cheapest protectors I could find at Wal-Mart and they were so thin and flimsy it wasn’t worth the savings, because they went into the garbage.
Now to organize those pages into a binder, like a stamp collection. You can find a hardcover binder at the dollar store for $1.25 or less. The best part about using a binder, it doesn’t take up a lot of space. I like that you can label and easily organize a binder, which is a sturdy place to keep all your window cling decals together.
Why should you organize your window clings?
- Prevents your window clings from getting damaged or lost, saving you money.
- It makes it easier for you to find the specific cling you want to use.
- Saves you time and effort when decorating.
I love to decorate for each holiday so the easiest way to store window decals when not in use is with sheet protectors and a binder. It is my favorite way to keep these beautiful window clings safe year after year.
I know window clings are not as cheap as they used to be, so this is why you’ll definitely want to prolong the life of them. So for all those that usually have the fate of been tossed away, can now be cherished and secured and you can reuse them again and again.
Here’s to an organizational project to inspire you to break out your creative and crafty side while making life more beautiful!
