- Cricut cutting machine
- Cutting mat
- Permanent vinyl

Instructions for Valentine’s day charger plate decor
Collect your materials and let’s start crafting these lovely charger plates for Galentine’s Day Valentine’s Day. The Dollar Tree has really nice charger plates that I use for each holiday. 5 inches is a great size, but sometimes I like to fill the center with a larger design. So I recommend measuring the center of the plates and seeing what size you would prefer depending on which design you’re cutting.

Select Customize and edit the project as needed. Again, you may need to adjust the size of the designs depending on the size of your charger plates.
When you are ready to cut, select Make It. Follow the Cricut design space instructions provided to complete the cutting process.
I prefer to cut everything at first, then follow each step for every design. You can choose whichever works best for you to get to the final product.
The steps I like to take are as follows.
When everything is cut, I carefully weed each design. Then I trim off any extra space on each side of the design. This allows me to use as little transfer tape in the next step as need be. Next, I stretch the transfer out and press the designs down onto the transfer tape. I like to use a scraper with heavy pressure to adhere the transfer tape to the weeded vinyl design. Cut each design out so we can easily apply each design to the front of the plate.
Next, let’s apply the design to the charger plate surface. First, peel the back off, leaving you with the transfer taped design, then center the design and press it against the plate. I recommend using a scraper to help press the design down, again with heavy pressure. Lastly, remove the transfer tape being careful not to pull the design up.
After the design is stuck and secure against the plate you’re all finished. Now you can decorate your tablescape and enjoy these Valentine’s Day charger plate table decor that are so beautiful and lovely keepsakes for every Valentine’s Day or as a gift for your guests.
