Holiday charger plate decor is that extra touch to make your table stand out. During the holidays, decorating our homes brings joy, happiness and festive cheer to our surroundings. Every holiday is an opportunity to adorn our living spaces by hanging lights, ornaments, displaying wreaths, adding pillows or wall art. But many times the table space gets overlooked.
When it comes to the holiday, elevating your table setting creates a festive atmosphere for you and your guests. Whether you prefer traditional or modern, charger plate décor embraces the holiday spirit and lets your creativity shine.
St. Patrick’s day charger plate designs are easy to make, your cutting machine does most of the work. Once you make these, your table will truly stand out.
Materials
- Cricut cutting machine
- Cutting mat
- Permanent vinyl
- Transfer tape
- Scissors
- Masking tape – securing vinyl to cutting mat
- Scraper
- Weeder
- Charger plates
Instructions
Measure the area in the center of the plate so you know how big you want your designs to be. I sized mine to 5″ and they fit nicely on the charger plates from the Dollar Tree.
Open my St. Patrick’s Day Charger Plate Design project in Cricut design space.
Select Customize and edit the project as needed. When ready to cut, select Make It. Follow the Cricut design space instructions provided to complete the cutting process.
When everything is cut, carefully weed and cut out each design. Next, apply the transfer tape on top. When ready to apply to the charger plate surface, peel the back off and press your design against the plate. Then use a scraper to help press the design down. Lastly, remove the transfer tape being careful not to pull the design up.
Now your plates are finished and look exceptional for St. Patrick’s day! These plates look really cute and make for great holiday decor.
