This Happy Fall paper wreath is perfect this time of year. It’s finally starting to feel like fall around here. The colors of the leaves are slowly starting to change. Warm days but the weather is now cool in the late evenings to early mornings and it feels so nice. As a candle burns, a delicious smell of fall permeates through the house. So happy to say it’s fall craft time.
I can’t believe we’re like a month away from Thanksgiving. Wowza! I’ve been working on some projects for a craft fair my mom and I have been doing and I put together this paper wreath for Autumn. Circled with colorful fall leaves and a Happy Fall center, this paper wreath adds a sense of fall to any wall.
Materials for Happy Fall paper wreath
- Cricut cutting machine
- Cutting mat
- Cardstock paper – 1 or 2 sheets of “12×12” paper & 4 sheets of “8.5×11” paper
- Scrapbook paper (optional)
- Masking tape
- Glue stick
- Square frame (12”x12”)
Instructions
First, gather your materials so we can make this cute Happy Fall paper wreath.
Open my Happy Fall Leaf Wreath project in Cricut Design Space. Click customize if you want to make any adjustments to size or leaf coloring. I created the option to have an outline as the top layer. If you want to cut that as well, you will need two 12×12 sheets of paper, one for the base and one for the top.
The first paper wreath I made, I chose fall colors, dark red, brown, golden yellow, and olive green. I think these colors represent fall well. You can find some of these colors together in a paper pack from craft stores like Michaels.
When ready, click Make to cut your Happy Fall project. After all the pieces are cut, use your glue stick or other adhesive preference to attach the leaves and words to the base. When dry, attach the top outline layer if you choose to cut that as well.
Once your wreath is dry, glue to a white cardstock paper or scrapbook patterned paper and put on the wall or in a frame.
Fall is the best season of all. I truly enjoy the smells and sights of fall colors and decor. Here in Florida it takes a little longer for us to have the sensation of fall (at least it seems that way for me) so I like to add wall art and decorations to each room to bring out the festive autumn feeling any way I can.
