Halloween charger plate decor is a creative way to enhance your dining experience and decorate your tablescape. Another holiday means another reason to decorate the table with holiday themed decor. I love the look of cute sayings or spooky designs this time of year.
I’ve put together a collection of Halloween designs that you’ll love to add to your tablescape. With a few materials and a cutting machine, you can make your own at home.
Materials for Halloween charger plate decor
- Charger plate – green, black, orange
- Cricut cutting machine
- Cutting mat
- Adhesive vinyl
- Transfer tape
- Scissors
- Masking tape – to secure vinyl to cutting mat
- Scraper
- Weeder
Instructions
Grab your materials and let’s get crafting.
Measure the center of your charger plates to determine the size you want the designs to be. Open my collection of Halloween Charger Plate Designs in Cricut Design Space. Select Customize and edit the project as needed. When ready to cut, select Make It. Follow the design space instructions to cut the project.
When your cutting machine is finished, carefully weed and cut out each design. Next, apply the transfer tape on top. When ready to apply to the charger plate surface, peel the back off and press your design against the plate. Then use a scraper to help press the design down.
Lastly, slowly remove the transfer tape from the plate, use the scraper to press the design down as you peel the tape away, if need be. Be careful not to pull the design off the plate.
I love charger plates. Not only do they transform a table setting by coordinating color schemes and styles, but beyond their decorative allure they are functional and versatile. Charger plates can help to maintain a clean space, catching spills and crumbs that may land on your nice table linens.
But mostly, I love the visual appeal and festive look the Halloween charger plate décor adds to the table. Create your own and decorate with cute, spooky and fun designs that stand out and scream Halloween. Save money buy customizing your own charger plates this Halloween.
