Patriotic charger plate decor is a fun and fancy way to celebrate your love for your country on the 4th of July. On Independence day we enjoy barbecues and parties, fireworks, fun activities and red, white and blue decorations.
I love to decorate every single holiday. I think I’ve said that a million times across my posts thus far. Joking, but it will always be true. Another thing to love is decorative charger plates for holidays and get-togethers. They’re simple to make, inexpensive and yet they look amazing every time.

Instructions for patriotic charger plate decor
Grab your materials and let’s get crafting.
Step 1
Start with measuring the inside of your charger plate so that you know the size of the designs you’ll want to use. For the plates that I usually purchase at the Dollar Tree, a 5” design fits well in the center.
Step 2
Next, open my Patriotic Charger Plate Decor project in Cricut Design Space. Select Customize and edit the project as needed. When ready to cut, select Make It. Follow the Cricut design space directions provided to complete the cutting process.
Step 3
When your cutting machine is finished, carefully weed and cut out each design. Next, apply the transfer tape on top. When ready to apply to the charger plate surface, peel the back off and press your design against the plate. Then use a scraper to help press the design down.
Step 4
Lastly, slowly remove the transfer tape from the plate, use the scraper to press the design down as you peel the tape away, if need be. Be careful not to pull the design off the plate.
Once your plates are complete, decorate your table and celebrate the 4th of July festivities! Happy Independence Day!
Charger plates are a great way to decorate for each holiday, or get-together. Whether you choose a holiday saying or simple shapes, charger plates add a nice decoration to any table display.
